It’s so hilarious that I had to share it (read the entire post here). At the same time, it’s sad that this type of ignorance exists rampantly in the world.

  • Excuse me, are those Sisterlocks?
  • You have Sisterlocks, no wonder they look like that.
  • I didn’t like them when you first got them done, but I like them now.
  • You have Sisterlocks? (dumbfounded look)…..oh.
  • I guess you don’t have beady beads no more.
  • She paid a lot of money to have her locks look like this.

Lesson Learned: Sometimes you gotta just smile and keep walkin.
