I’ve moved and I did not locate my digital camera. Unfortunately, it looks like I need to purchase a new one. That won’t happen until sometime in September, so bear with me. After that, I should be able to post more pics.

I know it’s been a while since I actually posted an updated picture of my hair. Please bear with me and my camera phone as I still have not located my digital camera.

This pic was taken after a fresh wash. My last wash left my hair feeling extremely thirsty, so I decided to go spend a few bucks at my local natural food store. I ended up purchasing Thera Neem shampoo and I’m completely in love with it!

Thera Neem was initially recommended for me by my SL consultant because of my dry scalp. This shampoo has been specially formulated to clean gently, with no harsh chemicals, soaps, or synthetic waxy thickeners. It is Lauryl Sulfate free and Paraben free. Furtheremoe, it is very thin and runny so that it will penetrate completely to your scalp. Price: $12.95 for 12 fl. oz.

After washing my hair with Thera Neem, my hair was soft to the touch; it did not feel stripped dry like it did before with the V05. As you can see, my hair has grown a little (it does shrink up a little as it dries).

I Need Curls!

You may have noticed in a number of my previous posts that I love curls. For the most part, around the time of my monthly re-tightening sessions, I also have a roller-set done. So far, the only method that has been done on my hair is setting with very small perm rods. I am usually happy with the results, but the curls don’t last that long on my hair and I would also want tighter curls. I’ve been researching other methods for a while, but I still haven’t decided the route I would like to take. So far, I’ve been thinking about Soft Spike Curlers and Wrap-A-Loc. Thanks to the likes of Brunsli and Goodnapps, I have been able to get good comparisons of both techniques…. I think I’m leaning toward Wrap-A-Loc for my hair length right now. As it grows longer, I might prefer a looser curl, maybe even Caruso, as BlaqKofi�does so beautifully. I’ll be sure to post pics once I decide and also once I find my camera (I recently moved and have no clue where it might be ).
