A few months ago, I ran across this post over at Goodnapps about the things that people say about SLs. It’s so hilarious that I had to share it (read the entire post here). At the same time, it’s sad that this type of ignorance exists rampantly in the world.
- Excuse me, are those Sisterlocks?
- You have Sisterlocks, no wonder they look like that.
- I didn’t like them when you first got them done, but I like them now.
- You have Sisterlocks? (dumbfounded look)…..oh.
- I guess you don’t have beady beads no more.
- She paid a lot of money to have her locks look like this.
Lesson Learned: Sometimes you gotta just smile and keep walkin.
